Hello there!

Today I have something really interesting and new to the blog! For the first time I am using fabric markers in my nail art :O To be very specific I used Zig Fabric Markers that I got a long time ago.

So, I had on two coats of China Glaze "Glistening Snow" and then I added a layer of HK Girl Top Coat. Next using the fine tip from my Sharpie marker, I drew on designs that were like stained glass. The middle nail design just popped out from my head and the ring design was inspired by this picture. The pointer and pinky nails had some random geometric shapes.

What I did next was to just color in the shapes and also leaving some of the silver holographic peaking through without any color. I had cut my nails pretty darn short because I broke two nails (oh poor me) but this manicure told me straight in my face that short nails can get fun too!
I lastly topped off the whole manicure with HK Girl Top Coat and the holographicness came back alive!

Hi everyone!

Today's prompt had me thinking... what is the best way to go with "by the sea" theme but is also very simple to do? I didn't want any complicated designs because I simply don't have the time right now :P

I managed to com up with this look:

A very basic nail art with curvy lines as the waves on the tips of my nails. I used the following range of blues: Zoya "Blu", Pa "A166", Kure Bazaar "Turkoise" and Kure Bazaar "Queen",

I do find this manicure attractive, maybe because it has my favorite color all over LOL. Tell me what you think!

Hello hello!

The next prompt for the challenge is watermelon, well it is still very summery in Singapore as it does almost every day of the year LOL.

Here I did some cute watermelon designs, all free hand drawn.

I've done watermelon nails before and I wanted something different. This time I created the watermelon ice cream, which I thought was pretty cool and cute! This was partly inspired by my mouse that had cartoon ice cream images.

Tell me what you think of this design :)

Good day to you!

Out of all the prompts, I am most excited for today's. Mainly because I am a huge fan of nature, I love the greenery and everything in between.

Yes I did more stamping because I tried to do freehand and it sucked big time LOL.

I used Bundle Monster BM720 for the flower and the bird design, totally loving this plate! The leafy designs are from BornPrettyStore BP19 plate (I reviewed this plate here). I used my trusty Konad White stamping polish only for this look.

The striking bright blue polish I so adore recently is none other than China Glaze "Turned Up Turquoise". For the flower design I did reverse stamping and filled in some color with Essie "Fiji" and "Cute as a Button". The ring finger had on two coats of Essie "Cute as a Button" as the base color.

I am super happy with how these tropical look came out! Tell me what you think!

Hola!
Today I have a pretty well done manicure (if I do say so myself)! Haven't had such a good full-on stamp in a while!

Here's my look for the Gold prompt of #Clairestelle8Sep Challenge. I used ILNP "Juliette" a rose gold flakie polish. Very very pretty!! However because I matte the whole look you cannot see the holographic reflectiveness at its best. I used Jior Couture "Cover Me Smooth" matte top coat for it.

I stamped over with Konad black polish, I think this is by far still the best stamping polish ever!!! I took out the bundle monster collab plate with ChitChatNails BM-XL202 plate and stamped away!

Here's a macro shot that I adore a lot!

Hello hello!

It's September already and this year I will not be participating in the 31 days challenge because that is simply impossible since I have just started University today..!

So, I am taking part in the Clairestelle8Challenge for this month. The prompt which was supposed to be on 3rd September is Owls.

I have decided to follow the famous tutorial I see online by Lacquertude.

I used Sinful Colors "Be Happy" and "Verbena" for the owls and used the purple to stamp on the words. The plate I used was from BornPrettyStore Qgirl 036 which I reviewed HERE  previously.

I was glad to have used blue and purple combination, turned out better than I'd expected :)

Hello there! Here is the last of the nail vinyls that I am reviewing!

Today it is a very starry manicure :D This is the starlight nail vinyl from BornPrettyStore. I felt that this vinyl was even more delicate as compared to the previous gardenia vinyl. I came up with this look:

I used Zoya "Piaf" a beautiful yellow shimmer base and NCLA "Spaced Out" as the second color. I thought that the color combination was pretty (if I do say so myself LOL).

I must say that out of all the vinyls the starlight one is the most tricky to use. However I did managed to come up with this manicure! And I was quite happy with the outcome :)  What do you think of this manicure?
