Hello there friend!

It's been a very long time since my last post, ooooops πŸ˜› My apologies dudes, I have started on internship and things are just getting busy! Today I am sharing with you a super old manicure I had on for my trip to South Korea with my Mom back in May.

Here's a shot at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul with an iced coffee. I loved this shot because it's all cool-blue toned hehe!

Now for a close-up shot of this nail art! For the marbled look, I did a simple technique using a stamper. I put on 2 shades of blue and a silver on the stamper head and then squished the colors onto my nails, viola!

I wanted more sparkle, so I added a holo top coat from INM and applied over the marbled nail art. As for my accent, I went for a sophisticated color (my all time fav) "Royals" by B Squared Lacquer.

Now time for the delicious macro shot!

That's all I have for you this week! I will try to post more, I hope not to lose touch with nail art... Anyway, hope you liked today's post and my new sign-off picture below hehe πŸ’“

Hello, friends!

I know I've been super out of touch recently... I just finished my last module for the year last week and so I told myself I needed to post something soon!

I was very excited to try BPX L023 stamping plate from BornPrettyStore.com, probably why I left this as the last item to review hehe πŸ˜›

For this look, I did a gradient of Cirque Colors "Halcyon" and "Idyllic" using a makeup sponge. The rose gold payoff was better than the blue while creating this gradient effect. After I did a gradient, I added a glossy top coat to make sure the base is set. Then, we move on to the stamping! I picked out two gear designs, an hourglass and clock patterned design. They all stamped beautifully.

I used Konad black stamping polish for this look and then, I decided to add a matte top coat so that I can take nice macro shots for you! They're coming right up πŸ˜‰

Satisfactory close-up shots? If yes, maybe you could use my code "LSTX31" at BornPrettyStore.com checkout to get a 10% discount! Remember, they have free worldwide shipping!

Hope you have a great week ahead!

Hello hello!

This week I have something new, a review! Introducing to you more BornPrettyStore stamping plates! Make sure you use my code "LSTX31" for 10% off your purchase with BPS πŸ˜‰ Now let's start with this gorgeous floral design, plate BP-L046!

Here's how part of the plate looks like, click HERE to see the entire plate! I was very fond of this plate as I specifically chose this plate because I saw the endless possibilities with reversed stamping. And this was exactly what I tried to do in this manicure.

Before moving on, I just wanted to show you a quick picture of the pickup of image on the stamper. I was really impressed with how fine the lines were! πŸ‘ I know the quality is quite bad, I took it on my phone with a shaky hand LOL, but you could still see how nicely the image was picked up!

And now moving on to the manicure itself! I had on three coats of OPI "Bubble Bath" a very soft sheer pinky nude. After which for the pointer and pinky I did a simple white stamping of a floral patterned design, which showed off the nice lines again.

For the other nails, I did reverse stamping! Now I realised that the close up shot is not the nicest, it gives away flaws but hey, I'm not perfect! So here I used China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy", Essie "Navigate Her" and OPI "I Just Can’t Cope-acabana" for the extra pop of colors to stand out from the soft background.

I did not add a top coat over the stamper and peeled it off like a decal. Instead, after filling in the colors I let it dry for a bit and while still tacky I stamped the entire design on my nails.

I must say, for reverse stamping, if you want to be super perfect maybe add a layer of top coat before filling the colors. Otherwise you might end up like me, smudging a bit of the black outline on my flowers!

Let me know if you enjoy doing stamping too!

Hey there, HAPPY EASTER!

Today I'm going for a Spring look and of course around the Easter theme πŸ˜‰ I'll be using a new plate from BornPrettyStore BP L043  particularly the beautiful butterfly image that I will be doing a reverse stamping.

Moving on to my manicure, I used Sinful Colors "Be Happy" and "Island Coral" and created a gradient on my pointer and pinky, just because I missed doing a sponged gradient πŸ˜› Then I stamped over some chevron patterns from Bundle Monster's BM-XL202 stamping plate over the gradient.

As for the butterfly image that I mentioned earlier, I first started off with a pale yellow background using Sinful Colors "Unicorn". Then I picked up the image with Konad black stamping polish and then colored in the wings with the Sinful Colors polishes to keep to the color theme of this look.

I'm actually really pleased with the result of the butterfly, as you can see from the close up macro shot below. To keep with the Easter theme, I added some Easter egg designs on my middle nail and drew on some designs on the eggs with white nail polish.

To top it all off, I added Revlon's matte top coat over all the nails to give the entire manicure a softer look. Let me know what you're doing on Easter!

#Clairestelle8April - Chocolate

Greetings!

Moving on to the next prompt, chocolate, my favorite! I'm always the kid that chooses chocolate over strawberry ice creams πŸ˜›

Today I am creating a chocolate ice cream dripping down my nails with some rainbow rice sprinkles on top (also my fav). To create this manicure, I started off with one coat of OPI "Bubble Bath" and then adding a matte top coat over.

Then, I used Jior Couture "Coffee Run!" and a small nail art brush to draw on some chocolate drips coming down from the tips of my nail towards the cuticle. I used white polish to draw on small little lines to create the base for the sprinkle and went in with Sally Hansen "Bubblegum Pink", Kure Bazaar "Turkoise" and "Carioca". To add contrast, I put on a layer of glossy top coat on the chocolate drips only to make sure it stands out from the matte base.

Ta-da! Does this make you crave for some chocolate right now?

Hi there!
I took the next prompt quite literally onto my nail art, bunnies or chicks? In light of Easter holiday, I decided to recreate Alice's (onenailtorulethemall) work from way back. With a slight twist, a chevron background for the words! For the bunny and the chicken, I used Essie "Navigate Her" and "Fiji" as the base colors, the yellow I used was China Glaze "Lemon Fizz" for the chicken.

And now, moving on to the cute chevron pattern, I used BornPrettyStore BP L013 plate. My package arrived just before I started my nail art, perfect timing I must say! I used Konad's white stamping polish for the stamp.

Before free handing my words, I added a top coat as a protective layer just in case I make any mistakes! Here's a close up shot, so you can see how the stamping turned out. I must say, I am surprised that it came out that well! Because sometimes when doing stamping, it's not guarantee it will work!

For this plate, it was easy to use and I am so fond of all the patterns here, look at that little rocking horse pattern! IT'S SO CUTE! Can't wait to use that! This plate is just $2.99 on BornPrettyStore.com and you could use my code "LSTX31" to get a 10% off discount! Remember, BPS ships for free worldwide! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Good evening readers!

I am going to try my best to do the #Clairestelle8April challenge for April, click HERE for all the prompts!

The first one is "dry brush" and I wanted to try something new, this idea just popped right up from my head. Introducing, dry brushing with negative space! I don't know if this was done before or not, but here is my take on it!

This manicure is really easy to do! Wipe your black polish brush back and forth to remove almost all the polish and then make strokes on your already dried base coat.

Because I dislike my free edge showing so I did a black french tip, pretty sophisticated eh? 😏 To bring it up a notch, I added  small gold stud near the cuticle. Here's a macro shot for you! (so macro you could see a fuzzy on my nail LOL)

I'm really satisfied with how this turned out, let me know what you think! Before I forget to mention, I used a-England "Camelot" for my black polish! That's THE BEST black polish, I swear upon it!
