Good day to you!

This week I am trying a new stamping plate that I received a while back. This is BornPrettyStore's BP L054 plate which I absolutely adore. Firstly because I am a fan of geometric shapes, and secondly the designs are intricate! Do use my code "LSTX31" for a 10% off when you're shopping there!

Moving on to my manicure, I decided to go for a minty gold background. I applied one layer of Sinful Colors "Be Happy" on all the nails then using that with Sinful Colors "This Is It" and a bronzier gold color from Catrice "Oh My Goldness!"; I blobbed the polishes on a stamper and then squish the colors on my nails. I love how the effect turned out!

Then I used Konad black stamping polish and a stamper + scraper to stamp on the geometric shapes. I was happy that this turned out pretty and I did this within an hour! That's how easy it is πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Hello there!

Happy Chinese New Year to you! πŸŽ‰

This explains the inactivity over the past weeks πŸ˜› But today I shall share with you my CNY manicure look that I matched with my newly bought dress for the occasion.  Here's a standard #OOTD shot for the first day!

To match it all up, I used Dior "Incognito" as the base and used the floral pattern from stamping plate BM 713. Because it is a joyous day I wanted to add more sparkle! I used three coats of Zoya "Arlo" on my accent nails. "Arlo" is in fact a textured polish but the holographic glitters are so pretty even when I added a glossy top coat over!

This was how my manicure turned out! I pretty much love it every bit hehe! Well, that's it for this post! πŸ™‚ Goodbye!

Hello friends!

It's Sunday and we're almost to the end of January (already?!) and here is another set of nail art look using water decals from BornPrettyStore. Today's feature is BPY 37 arabesque  patterned design. There are two color schemes, orangey and green. I chose to work with the orange pattern.

As per usual, dip the water decal into water and let it work out its science. Remove it from the water and slide the decal out from its paper backing. Place the decal on your nail and viola!

I then decided to do some simple freehand diagonal stripes on my other nails with Kure Bzaar "Queen" and "Juicy". Had a bit of a shaky hand there πŸ˜›

Now here's a macro shot of the water decal over a white base, as you can see, the colors are vibrant and really pretty! I absolutely love this pattern!

What do you think of today's mani look? Yay or nay?

Good day to you!

Continuing from the previous post on water decals, here I have another design from BornPrettyStore BPY32.

The pointer nail is a combination of two designs from the water decal. I placed each design halfway so that they meet in the middle. I used full patterns on the rest of the nails.

What I love about water decals (besides the ease of use) is the different patterns which are of the same theme. This just gives the whole manicure a much fuller look.

I'll have more water decals to review! Look forward to them! At the mean time, if you want to purchase at BornPrettyStore, you can use my code "LSTX31" for 10% off!

Hey there!

Today I did a really relaxing nail art. Why is it relaxing? Well, because I used water decals and they are the best if you need a quick but fancy manicure. Trust me it's really easy!

I used BPY 31 green leaf pattern, it's priced only at $0.99! It's a steal, plus always remember free worldwide shipping by BornPrettyStore πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ You get these four leafy designs shown on my manicure here:

For this look, I started off with two coats of white polish and cut out the designs. Then let it soak in water for a good 30 seconds, slide off the decal and placed on the nail. As per usual, clean up around your cuticles with a brush and nail polish remover!
Loved this look, and honestly I don't see pixels on the design which is great. Also, I added a glossy top coat and then a matte top coat. I wanted to show the designs better thus the matte top coat πŸ˜„
Hope you had a good read!

Oh wow!

It is the last day of the year, tomorrow will be 2017! How fast is that man!

Today's manicure is a little festive and glam πŸ˜‰ I used Three Beauties "Glitter Gala" beccause it has blue, magenta, black and gold hex glitters in a clear base (which is perfect for a glitter gradient).

For my accent nail, I put the glitter polish on a sponge and sponged on the nail to give max glitter coverage. For the glitter gradient, I placed the concentration of the glitter on the tips and using the brush from the bottle itself I dragged some glitters down.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the nude base under! It is OPI "Pale to the Chief" from the Washington DC collection!

#Clairestelle8Christmas - Winter Wonderland

Well hello!

Hope everyone is still in the holiday season!! πŸ˜‰

Today's manicure was unplanned but came out nicely! I had on two coats of piCture pOlish "Winter", I must admit I chose this polish because of its name, how could you blame me right? πŸ˜‹

I used white polish for all the designs. For the big ol' tree, I just simply use a nail art brush and drew a vertical line for the tree trunk (but more for a skeleton guide for the tree really), adding small strokes coming outwards for the leaves. This turned out better than expected!

For the reindeer on my ring finger, I used BPX-L008 stamping plate for that, easy peasy and looking so great! For the other nails, I did a simple snowfall look. Covered the tips with white and added dots to mimic the snow, perfect!

That my friends, is what I came up for "Winter Wonderland"! Hope you liked it!!
